New California Council of County Representatives Elects Officers

On Saturday, September 9th, 2017 the State of New California Council of County Representatives elected new officers in their first meeting after transitioning from Provisional CCR.    With nine counties voting, representatives elected Ruth Haring of Butte County as Chair, Paul Preston of Sutter County as Vice-Chair, Claudia Taylor of Nevada County as Secretary and Robert Randy Sutton of Lake County to be Treasurer.  Visit our website for the New California State

Declaration of Charter issued.

On Aug 28th, during a conference call meeting, Yolo and Modoc county committees were accepted into the Provisional Council of County Representatives as the 8th and 9th county members. With the establishment of our 9th county, as per our Charter I Tom Reed Chair of the Provisional Council of County Representatives do here by issue this proclamation of Declaration of Charter. The first meeting of the fully chartered Council of County Representatives will be on September 9th in Williams where our new officers will be elected.

Meeting September 9th in Williams – The birth of a new State, the CCR.

You’re invited to a meeting for creating a New State in California. At this meeting we plan to activate our charter and transition to from the Provisional Council of County Representatives to the Council of County Representatives. We will be in closed session from 10 until noon as we elect new officers to the newly formed Council. The public meeting will convene at 1:30pm where we’ll have the public swearing in of the officers, seat the new Council and begin the business of establishing the CCR as a representative body speaking for the people of our chartered counties.

Meeting August 19th in Williams – Organizing to Deal with Explosive Growth

At this meeting we’ll be working on the change in status and making the the transition smoothly on our quest for a New State. We anticipate accepting the 9th charter county to our Council in the next month or so, this will trigger significant changes in our structure and focus. This is a working meeting open to public viewing and participation.
